My name is Casey and this is my second year driving for Texas Ice Cream in Dallas Fort Worth. First off, as the only native Texan that drives for Texas Ice Cream, I inherently believe that my words carry more weight. That being said, over the last two years I’ve seen first-hand the positive changes that Texas Ice Cream makes in the lives of the people we serve, as well as my own. It’s a running joke around the company about how long it took for me to take the job after they initially approached me, five years ago. My first response was to chuckle, I didn’t think being an ice cream woman could be a genuine career. But, I now look back and laugh that it took me so long to take the offer. I am so much happier every day because I drive for Texas Ice Cream. The joy of our customers permeates throughout not only my work life, but my home life as well. On top of all that, I am on my way to becoming a homeowner which I could have never imagined with my previous job.
I currently live in Denton with my three rescue pups! Fern(dachshund), Lucky(staffy), and Sadie(staffy). They are our biggest fans!
